Christian mega-worship

In “Here Come the Radicals,” Matthew Lee Anderson wrote: “The really radical path for a megachurch pastor these days would be to refuse to publish, to take a smaller church, to not podcast sermons, and to embrace a more monastic witness.” (Christianity Today March 2013)

This reminds me of something George MacDonald said: “Service is obedience, or it is nothing. We obey God by serving our neighbor—just as Jesus did—by getting underneath the pyramid rather than seeking to climb to the top of it.” (Philips, Character 126).
