Continuum of Consciousness

Lisa Randall is the physicist and cosmologist who was inspired to the thought of multiple dimensions in the universe. And though she wasn’t seeing consciousness in the context of our connection to Christ (as I do), she did say this in her interview with Smithsonian.com:

“I think there is a spectrum of consciousness and I think it’s interesting to study that…I think it’s sort of a continuum” (Interview with Ron Rosenbaum June 2013).

Separating consciousness from the brain can be a huge step in Christian believing. Since our individuality of consciousness is the part of us that survives this world, it is where we walk with the Lord–here and there.
