NDE’s and Christianity

After his NDE, Eben Alexander wrote: “We need to recover more of that larger knowledge while living here on earth…” (72). And that is exactly what Jesus Christ came to help us do. What Christianity shows us is that we don’t have to have a NDE to experience God’s presence and love, right here, right now. But we have to open ourselves to that spirituality. We need to make room for Christ’s presence in our lives. He overrides the “brain’s filter” [Alexander’s description 72] and shows us more of who we are.
